An unspoilt natural site
In the heart of the Vosges countryside, the Gorges de Crosery offer peace, freshness and a change of scenery.
These gorges, carved out of granite, were formed during the last ice age by the Moselotte glacier.
The site is superb in all seasons, with the colours changing with the rhythm of nature. In summer, you can even swim in the clear waters of the Moselotte River from a small sandy beach nestling at the bottom of the gorge.
The Gorges de Crosery: good to know
There are several ways to get to the Gorges de Crosery:
- By bike or on foot along the Voie Verte des Hautes-Vosges (Green Route of the Hautes-Vosges)
- By car, parking in the Thiéfosse church car park. Then take the botanical trail that runs alongside the river. It leads to the gorges via a footbridge suspended over the Moselotte river.
