Situated in the south-west of the Vosges mountains, the Mille Étangs plateau covers an area of 220km2. This exceptional natural site was shaped by glaciers 12,000 years ago.

Head to the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park to explore the vast Mille Étangs plateau, nicknamed "Little Finland". You'll fall under the spell of these unique landscapes, made up of a multitude of ponds of varying sizes where an extremely rich flora and fauna flourish.

To make the most of the Mille Étangs, we recommend that you follow the road route "L'échappée des Mille Étangs", which will take you to six major sites:

• The hamlet of La Mer,
• The church of Saint-Martin in Faucogney, 
• La Croix du Montandré in Servance,
• Les Grilloux in Servance,
• The hamlet of Annegray in La Voivre,
• The Pellevin pond in Écromagny.

Are you a keen cyclist? Several cycle routes are also available.
📍The Milles Étangs plateau stretches from Lure to Faucogney. The commune of La Voivre is the closest to the hotel (1 hour's drive).
